I am an educational leader and community college dean committed to expanding access to high-quality learning experiences that prepare students to serve and lead in their communities. My career spans K–12 and higher education, where I’ve built a record of impact through teaching, program development, and strategic planning that strengthen institutions and transform student outcomes.
Beyond administration, my work explores the deeper role of education in shaping lives and communities. Through Deep Thinker Lab on Substack, my writing, speaking, and podcasting invite people to think more critically, lead with clarity, and reimagine the power of education as a force for generational change.
I also write about culture and the history of Black education—topics that illuminate how the past informs the present and can inspire a more just future.
In addition to writing on topics related to empowering individuals to transform their family’s lives through education, I write and speak about issues related to culture and the history of black education.
