Dr. Matt Miller began this practice in 1938 at the corner of 5th & Liberty in 1938. As a child Dr. Jeff Miller learned to assist his father and mother in the practice . Drs Miller practiced together from 1969 until 1991 when Dr. Matt Miller retired after more than 50 years of helping people.
Dr. Jeff Miller did his under graduate work at Emory University and received his doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners in Optometry, Pennsylvania Licensing Board, and National Board of Examiners in Optometry. He was elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Charter Member of the AOA Contact Lens Section, North Carolina State Optometric Society,and the Winston-Salem District Optometric Society. Dr. Jeff Miller served 12 years on the Forsyth County Board of Health.
When you come in our office, Dr. Miller's love of trains will show as we have the running train layout and train pictures everywhere. He founded The Southbound Model Railroaders at South Fork Park, and is very active in the National Railway Historical Society.
Dr. Miller says that he could not function without his right and left hands, Amy and Karen.
